Amsterdam
Alkmaar | Zaanse Schans | Volendam

02 to 05 October

In this trip you will discover Amsterdam at its best

Between the night cruise through the canals, the historic neighborhoods and visits to museums or typical cafes, you will feel the quiet and creative rhythm of the Dutch capital. Here you live slowly, but you savor everything with intensity.

Along the way, there is still room to get to know the windmills, the colored villages and the more traditional side of Holland, where time seems to be in no hurry and the sea dictates the routine.

Day 02

October 03, '26 - Saturday AMSTERDAM

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for panoramic visit on foot with local guide (maximum duration of 04H00). This half-day tour offers a careful immersion in Amsterdam's most emblematic points, combining history, culture and local experiences. The visit begins in the heart of the historic center, where the narrow streets and 17th-century canals reveal the original urban structure of the Dutch capital. The tour starts at Dam Square, the scene of political and commercial episodes, continuing through the main canals - Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, allowing us to observe the typical architecture, elegant bridges and houses with ornate facades. We will discover the origin of the canals, their role in maritime trade and the daily dynamics of the surrounding neighborhoods, such as the Jordaan neighborhood, traditionally associated with artisans, markets and historic cafes. Here we find small galleries, bookstores, local grocery stores and some of the most photographed streets in the city. Also noteworthy are the Royal Palace and the National Monument, among other points of interest.

At the end of the visit, lunch at a local restaurant. Free afternoon for personal activities or possibility of optional visit to some of Amsterdam's famous museums. We suggest the Anne Frank House Museum, the famous Rijksmuseum or Madame Tussaud's, among others.

In the late afternoon, private transportation back to the hotel, for dinner and accommodation.

Day 03

October 04 '26 – Sunday ALKMAAR, ZAANSE SCHANS, VOLENDAM AND MARKEN

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in private transportation for full-day tour with local guide (maximum duration of 08H00). This full-day tour offers a comprehensive immersion in the cultural and historical essence of North Holland, combining centuries-old traditions, emblematic landscapes, and the authentic charm of typical Dutch villages.

Highlight for Alkmaar, a city recognized worldwide for its traditional cheese market, active since the 16th century, as well as Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum, with a collection of operational windmills, original 18th-century wooden houses, and artisanal workshops.

During the visit, participants will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of clog manufacturing, artisanal cheese production, and traditional milling in still-operating windmills.

The landscape, marked by canals, wooden bridges, and vast green fields, creates a unique photographic setting. The visit will end with Volendam, a fishing village characterized by colorful houses and traditional boats, and Marken, an old island connected to the mainland by an isthmus. Known for its unique architecture, composed of wooden houses built on stilts or small elevations, Marken conveys the feeling of a preserved village in time.

During the visit, it is possible to explore narrow streets, visit traditional workshops, and understand the local way of life, marked by its historical relationship with the sea.

Lunch at a local restaurant, between visits. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel, dinner, and accommodation.
